Welcome to Yang Yang’s Homepage
Yang is an assistant professor in theoretical chemistry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2016 from Duke University under Prof. Weitao Yang. He then worked with Prof. Sharon Hammes-Schiffer from 2016 to 2019 at UIUC and Yale University. In Yang’s lab at UW-Madison, the main research directions include 1. method development in multicomponent quantum theory 2. method development in excited states theory 3. practical quantum chemistry calculations on excited states problems. Students and postdocs who are interested in quantum chemistry and want to explore the deep nature of chemistry are all welcome to join Yang’s group.
